Sats standard

Pricing goods in satoshis instead of fiat — the measuring-stick flip.

The “sats standard” is the practice of denominating prices, savings and salaries in satoshis rather than fiat currency — flipping the measuring stick so bitcoin is the unit and the dollar is the thing that fluctuates. A coffee is then not $4 but some thousand sats, a number that has historically drifted down.

SatsAtlas exists to make that flip concrete: what everyday things cost in sats, everywhere, over time.
