101 countries ranked by COL index (avg. of key item prices in sats)
The SatsAtlas Cost of Living Index measures everyday expenses across countries using Bitcoin satoshis as the unit of account. By pricing goods in sats, you can directly compare purchasing power without exchange-rate distortions.
The index is calculated from six key items: a beer at a bar, a cup of coffee, a liter of gasoline, a kilowatt-hour of electricity, monthly rent for a one-bedroom apartment, and monthly internet service. Lower values mean your sats go further.
