SatsAtlas Report · updated 2026-07-11
Every country's everyday cost of living, priced in Bitcoin satoshis and ranked. One satoshi is the same unit everywhere, so this strips out local-currency inflation and exchange-rate noise and shows where your Bitcoin actually goes furthest. 101 countries; the median sits at 152,833 sats.

Method & caveats
Each country's index is the average sats cost across a six-item everyday basket — a beer at a bar, a coffee, a litre of gasoline, a kWh of electricity, one-bedroom rent and monthly internet. Local prices are collected in USD, then converted to satoshis at the live BTC/USD rate, so the same unit is used everywhere. A country needs at least two basket items priced to appear. Because the index is denominated in sats, every figure moves as the Bitcoin price moves — it measures cost in Bitcoin, not in fiat. The same methodology powers our cost-of-living pages, so this report never contradicts them.
